ANTHRAX Joined By CHUCK D For 'Red Bull Snowscrapers' Performance; Video Available

ANTHRAX was joined by Chuck D of PUBLIC ENEMY for the band's appearance yesterday (Thursday, February 5) at the "Red Bull Snowscrapers" snowboarding competition at the East River Park in New York City.

Sixteen pro snowboarders, including Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, competed for a $100,000 purse with a $50,000 first prize at the event, which featured a 90-foot-tall (27-meter) ramp and an 80-foot-long landing area at FDR Drive and Houston Street in New York City.

"Red Bull Snowscrapers" was the third major snowboarding competition in New York City.

ANTHRAX will release "Worship Music", the band's first new studio album in six years, in June on Megaforce Records. The CD marks the studio debut of new singer Dan Nelson who joins longtime members Scott Ian (rhythm guitar),Frank Bello (bass),Charlie Benante (drums),and Rob Caggiano (lead guitar).
